As previously notified, d-PIT Solutions will no longer puplish individual Security Advisories.
This decision was not taken lightly, and it is with sadness that we now remove the content that was previously pubished.
Our KB will remain on-line, however, the content will no longer be maintained by our staff.
It is with great sadness that we must annouce that we have made a decision to no longer publish individual Security Advisories. This change will take effect on the 1st May 2021.
We did not take this decision lightly, and although we have published these for the past 13 years, we decided that the time that is involved in gathering all of the information consumes hours of productive business time that could be spent servicing our clients needs more efficiently.
The existing Advisories will remain online until 1st June 2021, and at that stage, we will notify you of where the information may be gathered from.
This knowledgebase has been maintained since 2007, and contains articles that relate to the following products / vendors:

Once support ends, any remaining users of Windows Server 2003 will be exposing themselves to risks. The lack of support means:
No security updates will be developed leaving users vulnerable to all new security threats
No new patches will be produced to help optimise systems and keep them performing well
Failure of standard compliance audits due to the vulnerability of the unsupported server
No contact with Microsoft for technical support on server problems risking no system restore ability and data and application loss
Because of these factors, migrating away from Windows Server 2003 is not a matter of choice, it is a necessity. Doing nothing will cost more in the long-run because of the risks involved.
