The version of BlackBerry Device Software does not support the wireless enterprise activation feature. BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 and earlier does not support wireless enterprise activation. This feature is only available for BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 and later.
Verify the version of the BlackBerry Device Software running on the BlackBerry smartphone. To perform this, complete the following steps:
The BlackBerry smartphone has not been set up for a BlackBerry Enterprise Server account. Therefore, the service books sent to the BlackBerry smartphone prevent the Enterprise Activation icon from appearing on the BlackBerry smartphone.
If the BlackBerry smartphone should be set up for BlackBerry Enterprise Server service, contact your BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator or Mobile Carrier.
