When turning off the BlackBerry Smartphone, a dialog box appears displaying the following options:

  • Turn Off
  • Full Power Off

Clicking Turn Off turns off the BlackBerry Smartphone, but it will turn itself back on at the scheduled Auto On time or at the scheduled alarm time.

Clicking Full Power Off turns off the BlackBerry Smartphone and causes it to ignore the Auto On time and the scheduled alarm time. In this state, the BlackBerry Smartphone can only be turned on manually.
