Hyper-V

What is a Hyper-V snapshot?

To put it simply, a Hyper-V snapshot allows you to capture the state of a virtual machine as it was at that exact moment in time (configuration, processor, memory, and virtual hard disk content). You can then make any changes that you want to the virtual machine, and if necessary restore the virtual machine to its previous state.
