IBM/Lotus Domino Administration

Information relating to installing and maintaining IBM/Lotus Notes/Domino R6/R7/R8 and R9.

Web users who are logged on to the Active Directory domain can open applications on the server from a browser without being prompted for a username or password.

The Lotus Domino server is installed on a Windows 2008 R2 (or above) server, and when the administrator tries to start the Lotus Domino Console i.e. the Java Controller for Domino, it gives the below error message.

Lotus Notes and IBM Lotus Domino are vulnerable to four Java exploits where malicious agents, applets, or XPages applications can escalate privileges. These vulnerabilities are in the Java SDK.
