Customise the Notes R9 Splash Screen

How can you customise the IBM Notes R9 Splash Screen?

  1. Locate your new splash screen that you want to use, make sure that it is a 24-bit bitmap file (.bmp).
  2. Put the file inside you IBM Notes installation folder (we recommend a sub-folder of the framework folder, but it can be anywhere you like).
     
  3. Edit the NOTES.INI file, and add the following two lines to the bottom of the file:
     
SESplashPath=lotus/notes/framework/splash/splash.bmp 

HasNotesOverlay=1
