More recently, we have been performing upgrades of various versions of Lotus Traveler to Release 8.5.3.3 (or R8.5.3.3)

The IBM documentation is relatively "unclear" as to what versions you can directly upgrade these to, so here is a table that outlines versions the upgrade path that is required in order to successfully upgrade from R8.5.3.0 (base version) to R8.5.3.3.

There is also an Interim Fix released, which must be installed on R8.5.3.3.

Before you begin, you need to identify the release of Traveler that you are already running. On the Domino server console that is running Traveler, issue the command:

tell traveler version

Depending on the version reported back, you will need to start with the packs just above that.
