This document describes the part numbers / components that are required in order to download and assemble IBM Connections 4.5 for the Windows platform.
IBM Connections is social networking software designed for the workplace. Its applications help you to establish dynamic networks that connect people, information, and business goals.
Space requirements
- 3 GB of disk space to store the full set of downloadable parts, and 11 GB of disk space to unpack the parts.
- 100 GB of disk space to install and configure the product (including databases).
Downloading and assembling the product
- Using your preferred web browser, login to the IBM Passport Advantage Online web site.
- Navigate to the Find Downloads and Media page.
- Select the Find by part number search option under Download finder options.
- Search for each downloadable image by part number as listed below.
- Download all of the parts that you need.
- Unpack each of the parts to a single, temporary directory on the system that you intend to install to.
- Follow the instructions in the Quick Start guide to install the product.
